Due to increased growth, Lime Green Products commissioned the construction of a new batching plant. K&M were awarded the contract to complete the structural steelwork and cladding for the new plant, which included the placement of 23 new silos. The 22m high structure while designed to the clients own personal specification in conjunction with the plant supplier. K&M were heavily involved with configuration of the design to assist with the final plants operation, with the 150t structure incorporating over 1500 individual sections of steel and floor plate, spread over 5 floors. The erection of the steelwork and cladding to the building was completed within 10 weeks on a highly confined site, but to the delight of the new owners.
