The 500m² extension and refurbishment of this small but busy supermarket was demanding, coordinating access, confined working and storage areas while completing the contract for a store that was operational 7 days a week. Also accommodating an existing tenant in relocating within the site, made this project a test for logistics. The creation of this two storey supermarket extension and new warehouse facility based on extensive ground works, concrete retaining walls, a steel supported beam and block first floor, incorporating a new goods / passenger lift and external finishes has enhanced the capabilities of this store for the client for many years to come.
