Specialists in farming, agricultural and managerial studies, the University requires the very latest buildings and facilities. The steel portal frame building with self supporting pre-cast concrete retaining walls is used to hold all the silage produced on the College estate. It is a 30 metre span building and because it’s located in a flood plain area, the design involves an extensive site strip and build up of clean stone with extensive concrete aprons to allow full access all year round to the building.
